Friends 2 Family Care Services LLC is for people who need a friend and non-medical home care in Birmingham, Alabama. We will come to assist you with your activities of daily living, such as taking a walk in the park, running an errand, accompanying you to your medical appointments, or even preparing a meal for you. Our team will be there to listen to you or even read a book to you. If you need an encouraging word, a hug, or a smile, we are your friends. The bond we create turns us into a family. Friends 2 Family Care Services LLC started out over 10 years ago. I just didn’t realize it. I started out as an independent caregiver, caring for families in their home. Later becoming a certified nursing assistant caring for patients in their home and facilities. I cared for and served my friends till they took their last breath. Families trusted me to employ other friends to come assist with their loved ones when their illness begin to decline and needed 24 hour care. The families had no worries as long as I was the overseer. Friends 2 Family care services was birthed because I realized there is a need for caring, compassionate, trustworthy, patient caregivers for the thousands of people that wish to stay home, instead of transitioning to a nursing home or facility where it’s overcrowded and understaffed. They can stay home with one-on-one support and their needs being serviced with a companion, someone to just be there.

About the Owner
Laquitta hand picks and interviews each and every caregiver, and makes sure they are a great fit for her company. Laquitta believes anybody can be taught to be a nurse, but you can’t teach compassion. Laquitta believes a hug and a smile can do a world of good for her clients. A smile and a hug can shift the atmosphere and can heal. Laquitta believes if you don’t have a heart for people and a service attitude, you are in the wrong field. Treat people how you would want to be treated, and remember, you reap what you sow, whether good or bad. Always sow good seeds. It will bring a harvest. Be kind to one another.
